About me

I was born in Asuncion, Paraguay and have been raised in a family that loves cooking, enjoys doing things differently and organize parties no matter the occasion. Later on, had the opportunity to manage a food company lead by my mother-in-law, which taught me completely another perspective about food, organizing events, food processing and how to manage the whole world around it.  Several years ago we moved to Texas, and opened my own catering business, serving different types of events from large receptions to small informal gatherings, which have given me the opportunity to manage, cook and serve in a much more personal level.

At the kitchen there is always something new to learn; with internet a whole new world of sharing and learning has been opened.  I like to create new recipes as well as to try new ones collected from several sources, like books, newspapers, a family well kept secret or a recipe that somebody gave me … I try them a few times and then decide if they are worth sharing. This blog would be about those recipes that my family, friends and I approved as the best ones!
